The developer is Super Studios USA LLC, tied in press to filmmaker Angel Gracia and Santa Clarita, California creative shop Creative Tank. Named partners in reporting include Arco Construction, Gensler, and Lineage Legacy Partners. Richard Judson has been named as CFO. The public framing is an AI-enabled film and TV “city in a city”: stages plus housing, food, hotel, and a trade school on one Mansfield site.

Job figures cited in reporting: roughly 4,000–4,400 construction jobs and 2,600–2,700 permanent jobs at full build. Earlier Evans comments used about 2,000 jobs. Hoped users include Netflix, HBO, Hulu, Paramount+, and Peacock originals. Hoped is not signed.
Nearby production context: Taylor Sheridan / SGS and Paramount at AllianceTexas in Fort Worth, about 20 miles away. Texas film incentive is now $300 million over two years through 2035 (SB 22). Phase 1 construction is slated for August 1, 2026, with a June 1, 2027 completion target on TDLR TABS #TABS2026017027. That filing is Project Registered, not a city building permit. Treat 2027 as the first-stage target if the start date holds.
Is Netflix coming?
Hoped, not signed. Press and developer comments name Netflix, HBO, Hulu, Paramount+, and Peacock as hoped users. Crystal will not treat that as a signed production deal.
